We often choose to believe in things that are not demonstrable in reality, as if it was a demonstrable truth/reality. Knowing what a word means gives us power to use it properly. We can be masters of a name/words, and be “magicians” in reality to affect and alter our own lives and the lives of others simply with the “word-magic” that comes from our power of consciousness.
